Weight Loss Cure-the Healthy Way

by Thomas Turner

If you are thinking about losing weight there are many diet and weight loss programs to consider. One of the programs that is often discussed is promoted by Kevin Trudeau. His weight loss cure is often criticized but is praised by many a well. It consists of a natural food diet that promises, through careful food selection, timing of meals, and the use of medical injections, to burn fat.

This weight loss cure requires users to switch to natural, preferably organic diet that emphasized antioxidants in fruits and vegetables along with whole grains and quality proteins. It is calorie regulated, and meals are to be completed by about 6 o'clock each evening to prevent fat storage. Foods to be avoided include simple sugars and refined foods that over stimulate the pancreas and pituitary and hypothalamus glands.

During one phase of the diet, patients also receive injections of bHCG to help burn fat. Use of bHCG (beta human chorionic gonadotropin), a hormone produced normally during pregnancy, is controversial for this weight loss cure. Some are concerned about giving this hormone to people who are not pregnant, and they wonder whether it is really effective. Many people refuse the shots, while others say the results warrant any discomfort.

Some people argue about the necessity of colon cleansing enemas during the first weeks of the weight loss cure, and whether or not it's required to continue this treatment routinely. Some people don't adhere to Trudeau's belief that toxins accumulate in the colon. Although perfectly safe for most people, regular colon irrigations and enemas are not considered desirable by most people.

By increasing the metabolism and thereby consuming fat at a faster rate, this program theorizes it will increase weight loss. This process is intended to be made smoother via the hormone injections and the detoxifying effect of the colonics. Foods that increase appetite or lead to fat storage are forbidden, and the timing of meals is designed to prevent the storage of fat.

Trudeau's weight loss cure has many true believers as well as detractors .Many happy users claim that they lost significant weight which they were unable to achieve with any other method. The use of this program, like all weight loss and diet programs should be discussed with a physician before beginning. It is a relatively safe program, but there are some people who should avoid colonics or hormone injections. The result a given individual obtains is the real test of the program
