So You Have The Dreaded Runners Knee

by Jessica P

Experiencing symptoms of runners knee? Let me tell you my story. Not only am I young and healthy, I enjoy jogging, running, marathons, and other outdoor activities. When I stay active, I am able to relax and clear my head. So as you can imagine, I nearly went insane when I developed Runner's Knee.

There are joints in your knee that glide smoothly against cartilage in the knee itself. But when you get Runner's Knee, the joints rub up against the knee and causes terrible pain. That was what I was going through. I'll tell you, it's no fun.

So, armed with a bottle of Vicodin and a book, I tried to make friends with the couch. It drove me mad, mad I say! I wanted to be active, but my Runner's knee was all ran out for a while.

Here is what I discovered to keep myself sane. There are only so many things you can purchase from infomercials before you realize that none of them work! There is, in fact, a reality show for every single situation you could ever think of. It really is impossible to read the encyclopedia.

Heating pads are proof that God loves us and wants to heal everybody. And no matter how many thousands of channels you have, there's still nothing to watch. Thank heavens my knee finally got better, and now I can run again. I can only think of that few weeks of my life as 'Hell Week!' Well, I'm off for a run! Talk to you soon.
