Plus Size Swimwear Is Beautiful
Most women with voluptuous, curvy bodies have a difficult time finding stylish plus size swimwear. Most major swimwear manufacturers don't have designs that graciously accommodate the average plus size figure. Thankfully, designers are increasingly offering options more favorable to extra large womens swimwear. Now, even larger women can find trendy swimsuits, wraps and sarongs in their size.
The perfect plus size swimwear takes time to find. Don't rush yourself; hold out for a quality suit that makes you feel good about yourself. Your patience will pay off!
The best place to seek the perfect plus-size swimwear may very well be plus-size online stores, even online department stores are now carrying some nice designer bathing suits in plus sizes. The online specialty boutiques are where you will find the best selection, and probably the best-fitting swimsuit. You might find plus size swimsuits on sale at some local designer outlets and boutiques. If you plan far enough ahead, the seasonal sales will sometimes produce up to 50% off your favorite stylish designer!
When fitting for a swimsuit, measure the bust, waist and hip. The bust is around the chest, under the arms to the biggest part. The waist is nice and loosely around the middle. Let's be comfortable here girls - no sucking in that gut! And the hip measurement is right smack dab around the curviest part. Also, remember that most swimwear styles include a choice of leg height: the French cut (not the most flattering style on most women); traditional bikini cut; grandma's cut, all the way down to the boy-shorts length - my personal favorite.
If you're fat and you need some plus size swimwear, you might look into using wraps and sarongs to cover up that cellulite or other flaws. Now you don't want a wrap that's so big that it falls all over the place. But it has to be big enough to cover the parts you need covered while still leaving you feeling comfortable if its a hot day.
Just because you are not happy with your body, do not let that ruin your enjoyment of the beach! Your bathing suit is not the overriding factor in your vacation with your children. However, I realize that if your bathing suit does not fit well, it can make you feel uncomfortable and self-conscious. The best thing to do is to select some great-looking plus size swimwear and have fun!
Stylish, designer plus size swimwear is extremely difficult to find. And for the most part, women with these voluptuous bodies aren't really encouraged by the design of most swimwear either. Luckily, there are designers who understand what us plus size women need and have provided beautiful and stylish wraps and sarongs to coordinate with their extra large womens swimwear. You might find plus size swimsuits on sale at some local designer outlets and boutiques. If you plan far enough ahead, the seasonal sales will sometimes produce up to 50% off your favorite stylish designer!
