Beautiful people are everywhere we look. Magazines, television and movies are filled with beautiful people that look as thought they never age. Many women often wonder what the secret is to seemingly eternal youth. The most popular product on women's daily routine is anti wrinkle cream. Do wrinkle creams really work?

What causes wrinkles? The number one reason for wrinkles is, well, aging. As we age, our skin cells don't divide was fast as they did when we were younger. This causes the inner part of the skin to begin to thin and loose the elasticity. Sagging skin is a result of this thinning. Since our skins looses the ability to repair as we age, this sagging of the skin is unstoppable.

Environmental factors can lead to wrinkles. Excessive sun exposure, smoking and environmental pollutants can greatly affect our skin in a harmful way. Smoking and secondhand smoke is extremely hazardous to our skin. The toxin that smoking emits is known to cause and excel deterioration of the skin. Killing skin cells and causing wrinkles.

There are many paths to choose when one chooses to battle wrinkles. Injections, facelifts and creams are on the top of the list. Injections are the buzz right now, but are known to have a lot of health risks. Injections are toxic to the body and in most cases are not wroth the expense that is incurred by having the procedure.

Facelifts are popular, but not as easy for everyone to have done. The risks are great with facelifts in many areas. There are a vast amount of scams associated with doctors and procedures. Finding a trustworthy doctor to perform the procedure may be an impossible task. It is also a painful process, leaving the face bruised and swollen. This can last for several months and sometimes the outcome is less that favorable.

Then we ask again, do wrinkle creams really work? The trick to this is to find the right one. There are many perscription creams available as well as over the counter creams. Always read the label to make sure you are using as safe, but effective cream.

An important ingredient to look for is Vitamin A. With the antioxidants in Vitamin A it not only makes your skin soft, but also boosts the appearance of your skin. If you are pregnant you should always ask your doctor first if you should use any cream with Vitamin A in it.

So to answer if anti-wrinkle creams really work, well you will have to try them for yourself. With any of the ways you choose to tackle your wrinkles, always do research first. Make sure you find a safe yet effective way to find your own eternal youth secret.
