Four Things you need to know about Acne Vulgaris

by Valerie Garner

Acne vulgaris is a very common skin disorder. It is usually referred to as acne and is characterized by several forms of papules, comedones, and nodules. This type of acne can appear sporadically throughout the course of your life, but will usually subside after puberty.

Common acne breakouts can lead to scarring, but acne is mostly a source of embarrassment. I'm sure that you are well aware of the many treatment options to help deal with your acne, but here are a few points that you might not know about.

Everyday Skin Care

Acne prevention is not only a daily concern, but it should also be an all-day concern. This means that you should try to keep your skin as clean as possible. Cleansing wipes are effective for removing debris from the surface of your skin.

Use these wipes if you are far from a fresh source of water to wipe away dirt, pollution, smoke and sweat from your skin. Once you get home, rinse your face with warm water or take a quick shower to remove the debris from your body.

Manage your Cleansing Routine

Don't scrub your skin too hard when dealing with acne. Avoid being so aggressive with your skin because scrubbing hard doesn't necessarily promise a cleaner skin.

Harsh cleansing can actually help promote the production of sebum, which in turn, causes the pores to clog more frequently. In addition, you can damage your skin and cause irritation and lesions. Neither of these scenarios is good for acne.

Acne Home Remedies can Work

Some people may consider home remedies nothing more than just quaint recipes handed down for generations. But, why would someone hand down acne solutions if they didn't actually work?

Some common acne home remedies include:

*rose water solution. Rose water solution is a light astringent that has shown excellent results in treating acne skin.

*sulfur. Sulfur is one of the oldest acne remedies known to man. Sulfur can be used as an exfoliant and an antiseptic. It is capable of penetrating into the sebaceous glands to help the immune system eliminate acne infection.

Not all Acne Creams are created Equal

When choosing acne creams make sure you choose products that contain salicylic acid, retinol and some form of exfoliation. You should also try to avoid acne treatments that contain alcohol and mineral oil. Alcohol will dry out your skin, while mineral oils will clog your pores.

Don't you think it's about time you stop losing sleep over the question: what causes acne? Instead, look for natural acne products, such as BIOSKINCLEAR, which are effective against acne. Products such as BIOSKINCLEAR are natural acne treatments that are safe and effective against ways of getting rid of acne and maintaining skin healthy.
